Choose four ziplines only, or add a self-guided via ferrata with bridges, rock grips, and waterfall views. Instructors explain the gear in English or Norwegian. The course is small, scenic, and more physical than a standard zipline.
“The is largely an unguided experience I would say and a little more strenuous than the description would have you believe. With that said, we had a blast. Definitely need some athletic ability for this one and some good shoes. Recommend you buy climbing gloves or purchase the ones at the shop for 5 Krone. Good to know: I’m 5’3” and some of the foot and hand hold were a bit of a scary reach or drop for me.”
Ride Geiranger’s famous Eagle Road in an air-conditioned bus, passing 11 hairpin bends to Eagle Bend at 515 meters. Stop at Flydalsjuvet and Eagle Bend for fjord views, while audio commentary is available in eight languages. Seven Sisters is viewed from above, not visited on foot.

Meet your English or Norwegian-speaking guide near the Joker shop in Geiranger, then ride a small bus past waterfalls and mountain scenery to Dalsnibba. You get roughly 25 minutes at the viewpoint before returning to the village. Bring water and a snack.
“Wer eine kurze Tour sucht, um Dalsnibba zu sehen, ist hier genau richtig. Die Fahrt führt in vielen Kurven bergauf – begleitet von beeindruckender Landschaft zu beiden Seiten. Oben angekommen, hat man etwa 25 Minuten Zeit, um die atemberaubende Aussicht zu genießen bevor es wieder bergab geht. Unser Guide hat uns unterwegs viel Interessantes erzählt. Leider war es im Fahrzeug sehr warm, da die Klimaanlage nicht funktionierte – und ausgerechnet an diesem Tag war es besonders warm. Trotzdem ist die Tour absolut zu empfehlen.”

Meet in Geiranger, collect your bike and safety gear, then ride from Djupvatnet Lake at 1,030 meters above sea level down toward the fjord. You set the pace on this self-guided route, with time for Flydalsjuvet photos. Expect traffic, changing weather, and a road ride, not a mountain-bike trail.
“It's not really mountain biking as you drive down from the pass on the main road with all the camping vans and big tour busses. So you have to be careful and stop all the time as the road is very busy during the peak season. Unfortunately there is no dedicated mountain bike trail.”
Launch near Geiranger’s cruise port for a two-hour guided paddle on Geirangerfjord. Stable kayaks, safety gear, and English instruction make this suitable for beginners. Guides including George and Peder add local stories, while calm water, cliffs, waterfalls, and possible eagle sightings fill the route.
